Social-rights cards

The KA220 application’s C1 definition has four headings: social welfare, social security, social services, social policy. Each group takes one heading and explains it with an example from its own city or a partner country.

Visit a social-service unit

The group visits a social unit in its own city. The aim is to see what the unit does, who applies and what support is given. In Hatay, examples include the Disability Social Entrepreneurship Centre, a social-services office or a Light Within Our Hearts / YİDER desk. Beneficiaries are not asked about their private lives.

Family rights talk

The KA220 application defines the learning triangle as the young person, the trainer and the family. In this task three short questions go home; one anonymous sentence returns to class. The aim is to make the C1 social-rights language visible at home.

Exit ticket

C1 and M3 assessment name an exit ticket. At the end of the session the young person writes one right or duty they learned and one value from Article 2 TEU: human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, human rights.

Hatay Governorship’s project for children orphaned in the 6 February 2023 earthquakes. Education, health, psychological support and basic needs are run together. You read which social rights are visible and imagine a similar desk in your city.
