Family rights talk

The KA220 application defines the learning triangle as the young person, the trainer and the family. In this task three short questions go home; one anonymous sentence returns to class. The aim is to make the C1 social-rights language visible at home.

Materials

  • A three-question talk card (taken home)

Steps

  1. 1

Read the card together in class. The questions are short and respectful.

  2. 2

At home the young person talks with an adult for ten minutes. Answering is voluntary.

  3. 3

Only one sentence returns to class. No name is written.

Inclusion

If reading or writing is hard, use the card orally. Support the language used at home.

At the end of the session

The sentences go on the wall. They are counted for monitoring; identity is not asked.

Home task

The card taken home is the session’s home task. No extra form or signature is asked of the family; answering is voluntary and no name is written.
