Worksheet · 25 min
Social-rights cards
The KA220 application’s C1 definition has four headings: social welfare, social security, social services, social policy. Each group takes one heading and explains it with an example from its own city or a partner country.
Field · 45 min
Visit a social-service unit
The group visits a social unit in its own city. The aim is to see what the unit does, who applies and what support is given. In Hatay, examples include the Disability Social Entrepreneurship Centre, a social-services office or a Light Within Our Hearts / YİDER desk. Beneficiaries are not asked about their private lives.
Family · 20 min
Family rights talk
The KA220 application defines the learning triangle as the young person, the trainer and the family. In this task three short questions go home; one anonymous sentence returns to class. The aim is to make the C1 social-rights language visible at home.
Scenario · 25 min
The Light Within Our Hearts
Hatay Governorship’s project for children orphaned in the 6 February 2023 earthquakes. Education, health, psychological support and basic needs are run together. You read which social rights are visible and imagine a similar desk in your city.
Scenario · 30 min
Disability entrepreneurship centre
The Hatay e-book: prosthetics, workshops, production and “If I Were in Your Place”. Production and independent life are read as rights.
Worksheet · 25 min
The HayatHatay example
HayatHatay is a Hatay Governorship brand. Handmade products from about 53 women’s cooperatives — olive oil, paste, jam, spices, olives — are sold at hayathatay.com.tr. Alongside shopping, it is a social-responsibility step; income supports regional development.
Scenario · 30 min
Solidarity market
The AESAS Christmas-market example: a class stall; proceeds go to animals and to victims of violence. What would your stall sell, and who would receive it?
Warm-up · 10 min
Real or fake?
This is the warm-up step of module M4 (media literacy and disinformation). The aim is to take a bodily position on whether a claim looks “real” or “fake”, without yet announcing the correct answer. The Dutch definition in the Pallas e-book — using media in a conscious, critical and active way — is opened afterwards with the checklist.
